Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about what Lenduh does for Philippine cooperatives, lending companies, and microfinance institutions.
Getting started
What is Lenduh?
Lenduh is a Philippine-built software platform that runs a cooperative or lending company's entire back office in one place: loans, field collections, member records, savings, online payments, accounting, and CDA-aligned compliance reports. It connects your office staff, your field collectors, and your members so everyone works from the same up-to-date information.
Who is Lenduh for?
Lenduh is built for Philippine cooperatives, lending companies, and microfinance institutions (MFIs). It fits the people who run them day to day: general managers, board members and officers, bookkeepers and accountants, cashiers, field collectors, and lending-company owners. Whether you have one branch or several, Lenduh scales to your size and the way you already work.
Is Lenduh built for the Philippines?
Yes. Lenduh is made specifically for the Philippine setting and is operated by Codero Digital Labs Services OPC, a Philippine company. It uses CDA-aligned accounting, prepares the CDA report pack, supports salary-deduction (APDS) lending, and accepts online payments led by QRPh. It speaks the language of PH coops and lenders, not a generic foreign system.
How do we get started, and is there a free trial?
Yes. You can sign up yourself and start a 30-day free trial with guided onboarding, no commitment up front. Lenduh also includes free data migration to help you move records from spreadsheets or your old system. Plans scale with your size, so you only pay for what your organization needs. Compliance & accounting
Does Lenduh handle CDA compliance and reports?
Yes. Lenduh prepares the CDA report pack, including CAPR, CAFS, PAR, SAR, LOTA, and MEDCON, plus loan classification and allowance for credit losses under CDA MC 2020-18 and PESOS performance rating. It generates exam-ready outputs and has a 'mark-submitted' workflow, but you still file with the CDA yourself; Lenduh prepares the reports, it does not e-file for you.
Does Lenduh do accounting and financial statements?
Yes. Lenduh includes a CDA-aligned chart of accounts with full double-entry bookkeeping. Loan releases, payments, and other activity post to the journal automatically, so your books stay current. It produces a Trial Balance, Statement of Financial Condition, and Statement of Operation, plus bank reconciliation, portfolio health (PAR), and exportable reports.
Does Lenduh help with AMLA compliance?
Yes, for Covered Transaction Reports. Lenduh includes a built-in detector that flags covered transactions so you can prepare your AMLA Covered-Transaction Report (CTR). It focuses on covered transactions only. As with CDA outputs, Lenduh prepares the report for you to review and file yourself, rather than submitting it to regulators on your behalf.
Does Lenduh handle dividends, patronage refunds, and statutory funds?
Yes. Lenduh manages share capital ledgers (common and preferred), dividend declarations and posting, and patronage refunds and member distributions under CDA MC 2019-09. It also allocates surplus to the RA 9520 statutory funds and supports a member welfare or mutual benefit (damayan) fund, keeping your year-end distributions organized and properly recorded in your books.
Lending & collections
What kinds of loans can Lenduh manage?
Lenduh supports multiple loan products with flat, diminishing, or add-on interest, plus fees, penalties, and early-payment discounts. It handles loan release and amortization schedules, payment posting that auto-allocates to penalty, interest, and principal, arrears aging, restructuring, borrower credit limits, post-dated check (PDC) management, collateral registers with loan-to-value enforcement, and salary-deduction (APDS) lending.
Does the collector app work offline, without internet?
Yes. Lenduh's collector app is an installable web app (PWA) that works offline-first, so field collectors can keep working with no signal. They can look up borrowers by QR code, record GPS-stamped collections, and log field visits while offline. Payments go into an outbox that automatically syncs once the device is back online, so nothing is lost.
How does Lenduh help manage cash and collector remittances?
Lenduh tracks cash from the field to the drawer. It reconciles collector remittances and flags overages or shortages, manages commission tiers and generates payslips, and runs cashier shifts with a cash drawer that supports denomination counting and a branch change fund. You also get collector device revocation, so you can cut off access to a lost or reassigned device.
Online payments & receipts
Can our members pay their loans online?
Yes. Borrowers and members can pay online by QRPh, and also by e-wallet or card via Xendit. Lenduh creates a login-less pay link for each loan, and members can generate their own pay link too. Payments are recorded automatically through a webhook, so the loan balance and your books update without anyone keying it in by hand.
Does Lenduh issue official receipts?
Yes. Lenduh issues QR-verifiable Official Receipts with a public verification page, so anyone can confirm a receipt is genuine. Receipts can be sent by email as a PDF, by SMS, by Viber, or by web push notification. It also produces savings deposit and withdrawal receipts, along with PDF loan agreements, promissory notes, disclosure statements, and demand letters.
Members & savings
Does Lenduh handle savings and deposits?
Yes. Lenduh manages regular savings, time deposits, and goal savings, with automatic interest accrual, maturity handling, and a printable passbook PDF. Member records are linked to their borrower and loan information, so staff see the full relationship in one view. Deposits and withdrawals generate receipts and post to your books automatically.
Do members need to download an app from an app store?
No. Members do not need to install anything from an app store. Lenduh's member portal is a PWA — a web app that opens in any browser and can be added to the home screen like an app. Members sign in with a passwordless one-time code (OTP). From there they can view records, apply for loans, request profile changes, and pay online.
What can members do in the self-service portal?
In the member portal, members can sign in with a one-time code, view their share capital, savings, and loan details, submit loan applications, request profile changes, and pay their loans online. This cuts down on counter visits and phone calls, freeing your staff while giving members convenient, around-the-clock access to their own information.
Security & trust
Is our data secure with Lenduh?
Yes, security is built in. Borrower PII and KYC data are encrypted, each organization’s data is isolated from every other tenant, and access is controlled by role-based permissions across branches. Lenduh adds two-factor authentication (TOTP), an admin IP allowlist, maker-checker approvals for sensitive actions, and a searchable audit log so you can see who did what and when.
What is the AI assistant, and is it safe to use?
Lenduh includes a built-in AI assistant that answers staff questions over your cooperative’s own live data, so you can ask things in plain language instead of building reports. It is strictly read-only: it can look up and explain your data but can never post, edit, or change anything. Combined with role-based access, that keeps your records safe.
Setup & support
Can we migrate from spreadsheets or our old system?
Yes. Lenduh includes free data migration as part of getting started, so you can bring over member, borrower, and loan records from spreadsheets or your previous software. Paired with guided onboarding during your 30-day free trial, the goal is to get your organization running on Lenduh with your real data, not to make you start from scratch.
Can we use our own branding and domain?
Yes. Lenduh supports white-label branding so the platform carries your cooperative's look. You can run on a custom subdomain or a fully custom domain, and even send email from your own domain. For larger or more technical teams, Lenduh also offers single sign-on (OIDC) and a developer API with keys and signed webhooks to connect other tools.
How does pricing work, and what support do we get?
Lenduh starts with a 30-day free trial and guided onboarding. After that, plans scale with your size, so you pay for what your organization needs, and billing is self-service with plan tiers, auto-pay, and a prepaid wallet. For the right plan for your coop or lending company, talk to us and we’ll walk you through it.
